>>>EDIT<<<
Selling stuff on e-bay? BE A PAL AND PUT A LINK TO THE FREE PATTERN ON YOUR AUCTION so that people at least get a chance of making themselves a plushie for free if they can't afford it!

Used this? SHOW ME THE RESULTS!
>>>O<<<

First of all, I'd like to thank Janice :iconanthropochick: as it was her work, the Leathercraft Pony that reminded me just how awesome (and time consuming) handmade plushies are. The "That's a really awesome pony, I want one too" feeling I had while looking at her work was what forced me to get back, after a over 10 year long break, to plushie making. Thank you!

A4 page, print, paste on cardboard (grid paper, make sure the large squares are 1cm(2) in size) cut & use to make your ponies. Safety edge of about 3 to 2 mm included. Note, the finished toy is about 12 cm tall, so pulling the material inside-out WILL be hard and some materials WILL tear. Works OK with leather & linen, you may have to add extra 2 mm for cotton or wool.

FOR SEWING INSTRUCTIONS please refer to this page [link] featuring scanned instructions for pony\puppy plushies.

FOR WIP PHOTOS AND GENERAL TIPS\INFO try the ponychan thread [link]

Note, I'm usually modifying the main pattern as I go, you may need to add some stuff there, the (sorta) blue rectangles at the end of pony hooves are something like that, basically a 1cm extension that you may wish to keep if you want to GLUE the round hoof part B_03

PARTS: B_01 = outer body, B_02 = inner body (belly), B_03 hoof (sole?), H_01: A = head used for Raggedy Mare, B = Applejack, C (in blue ink) = WIP for stallions, H_02 = face\forehead etc, E = ear.
Example bodies: Wing pattern by :iconshauntinasha: IF YOU HAVE A HORN PATTERN OR FAQ - PLEASE SHARE IT!

Finished toys made by me are around 12 x 5 cm \ 4.7 x 2 inch, about the size of a human hand.

If you make any major changes POST THEM (sorta like this) so that others may use them too. Also, you used this? Show me the results! I'll be happy to see them!

If you have any questions regarding the pattern feel free to ask them.

THIS IS A FREE PONY PATTERN AND IS TO REMAIN FREE OF CHARGE, THE IDEA BEHIND THIS IS SO THAT EVERYONE COULD MAKE A PONY FOR ONESELF FOR FREE, ANY AND ALL COMMERCIAL USE WILL RESULT IN YOU ENDING UP ON ONE OF THE MOONS OF JUPITER.

MLP:FiM (C) Hasbro, this is but a fanmade pattern showing a vague resemblance to the actual Hasbro-made plushies.

im a big knitter, so i know yarns fairly well. for the mane, i suggest roving (very loosly spun and can be fuzzed up for a fluffier mane) or a mohair type yarn. Pick texture, it will look way better. or maybe even some ribbon yarn, for highlight, or to be braided. Im making a pinkie pie, so imgoing to spinthe roving, sew it, then unspin it for pinkie's thick mane. With some curly yarn for texture.

- Some say its impossible to nail jello to a tree. I aim to change that.

Pardon, but I have a quick question. You mentioned to people selling the ponies made with the pattern, is that alright? Are we allowed to sell the ponies we make? (I don't intend to sell them online, just in the area where I live and only upon request). If you don't went us to sell them I understand and will just make them for myself and as gifts.
This is a wonderful pattern, by the way. I just finished my Fluttershy draft. :iconfluttershyplz: (All I had was green, so she's only one colour. :XD:)

Thank you so much for posting this! I need some help with this though. Can someone blow this up for me so that the pony stands somewhere between 10-12 inches? I tried doing it myself but I can't get all the pieces to print on separate pages so it gets cut off and I can't use it. Please help!

I used a ruler and pencils to transfer the pattern to make it larger. It's time consuming, but it works.

Hi, I absolutely love this template, so I touched it up a bit, don't worry, I gave you full credit. Basically, I removed the background and separated each section into a layer.

Very Nice! But I was wondering if the squares underneath the hooves are supposed to be there.
